PC Tools AntiVirus program is easy to use and navigate. You can choose from two different scans. The full scan is what the average user will most often use. This will scan your entire computer. The other is a custom scan where you can choose which files you would like to scan.
ReplyDeleteOne of PC Tools' strengths is it makes a complicated process simple for the average user. This company has a good registry repair program as well as an antispyware program. Both have incorporated the same type of interface, which is great for the average user. The program has some great update features offering both automatic and manual updates, but overall, this software doesn't offer as many features as the top-ranked products.
PC Tools Antivirus passed the VB 100% in 2008 as well as the ICSA 2008 test.
I tested PC Tools Internet Security 2009 for over 4 weeks (I got it thanks to a promotion), I had to uninstall it, my system slown down dramatically and some malware were not detected, even tough ThreatFire is able to catch unknown processe
ReplyDeleteI have tested this software for more one month and see that it's not so good! It can get rid of many kinds of spyware and adware but for detecting viruses, it's obviously weaker than Kaspersky, Antivir, BitDefender, NOD32,...! Hope the producer will soon upgrade it for a better product. It's quite good software.
ReplyDeleteActually PC tools is having a promotion now. ( For UK residence. ( you can use UK proxy) PC tools is giving out free 1 year license for this product. I got mine already I give it 3 stars!
