After replacing Norton AV with NOD32 my bootup seems to require half the time. Interface is easier to navigate and more intuitive. Much better to setup. Best of all, this program is VERY light on system resources. I can do a system scan with almost little slowdown while surfing the web. Nod32 quickly updates a few times per day without apparent drag. One of the best pieces of software I've ever used.

ReplyDeleteThis program protects against viruses, spyware, malware - the lot. Updates quietly and efficiently, detection is very good indeed - found several contaminated programs and emails before they reached my pc. I use Firefox, Eset NOD32 detected infections in downloads as they were downloading, and stopped the download instantly. Visual warnings are very clear and easy to understand. Test runs with Spybot, Malwarebytes and Trend Micro online all came up with no infections. Would I recommend Eset NOD32? YES! I install it as standard now.

ReplyDeleteQuick and easy. No problems. I had AVG before but a virus slipped through. You get what you pay for. I have fewer spyware enter my computer.Still use Spybot Search and Destroy. However, no viruses, trojans or or serious maleware enters my computer.

When Vista32 first came out I needed a new anti-virus provider. After careful consideration I choose NOD32 Version 3. It has a small footprint and is a competent program. Sadly after I installed Version 4 my system started locking up randomly. After extensive testing on my part, I finally discovered that NOD32 Version 4 was the problem.
ReplyDeleteIf you are tired of bloated security programs then this one is for you. ESET has had a 100% positive record of no false positives and uses very few resources.
ReplyDeleteUnlike some of the higher priced Antivirus products, Eset 4.0 gives good protection at a reasonable price. The thing I like best is that it does not hog system resources and slow the computer down like Norton. Use Eset Nod32 with confidence.
ReplyDeleteI am using NOD32 version 4 on a 64 bit Vista machine and it works well for me. Some of the complaints earlier reviewers had are legit but I believe are fixed. Is working well for me
ReplyDeleteI am a current registered user of ESET NOD32 Antivirus V3.0.650, which is a reasonably decent product. When I upgraded to their V4, CPU utilization pegged at 100% during in-depth scans, rendering my computer unusable. My e-mail request for assistance to their customer service department was ignored. I restored V3.
ReplyDeleteYou might want to wait until ESET fixes their V4 utilization problems before installing V4.
